On 5-6 March05 the IPMS Sumter /Shaw AFB Model Club contributed to the "Speed Week" display at the Sumter Mall. We exhibited over 50 built up plastic model kits of which about 20 were automotive in nature. Martin Mcgrew,Tony Abbott,Paul Lovell,and David Bridges donated builtup kits to exhibit. Tony Abbott, Martin Mcgrew, Paul Lovell, David Bridges and Darryl Wilcox manned the tables on Saturday and Sunday. We displayed our club banner,regional banner, and handed out flyers for both our local club meetings as well as next month's big convention. We found some interest about our hobby and some new potential members!
