CLUB MEETINGS

 

 Our NEW MEETING location starting on Sep 2011 will be at the MAIN SUMTER COUNTY LIBRARY, 111 N. HARVIN ST. Sumter S.C. 29150.  We meet in the downstairs meeting room to the right of the main entrance off the children’s section. Our meetings are tentatively scheduled (from month to month now) on the THIRD MONDAY of every month from 5:45pm – 7:45pm.  Backup to this will be the upstairs second floor boardroom.

 

To confirm the exact date and time please get in contact with one of the executive Club Officers.  You can do this by filling out the "Contact us" Section of the website.  Your e-mail will be forwarded to the officer that you indicate. Or check the latest newsletter on our website for any changes on location for the next meeting.

 

  Meetings consist of the President and Club officers briefing

members on IPMS/USA Region 12 news, modeling events,

and the treasurer’s report. Next members show off the latest

models and accessories purchased along with kit reviews.

There is a “show and tell” portion where members talk about

 their completed models brought in for display.

Technique demonstrations and slideshow are given to

enhance fellow modelers’ skills and references.

We try to hold at least a couple of  intra-club contests per year to spur

a little competition and involve members to participate.

We also have a raffle of donated models and accessories every meeting.

Tickets are  $1 each.
